Easy TMNT Cake Ideas : Make It From Scratch Or Use This Decorating Kit!

It could not be easier than this! Choose which one is easiest for you. Great ideas even if you're a beginner at cake making! #gallykids

Are you looking for easy TMNT cake ideas? Here are some of the best I’ve seen on Instagram.

The Easy Ones

So let’s start with the easiest TMNT birthday cakes to make. These are the ones that you can make at home if you have beginner level cake-making skills.

In short, they’re the ones I’m more likely to make.

This is the easiest one I could find. Just look at this. All you have to do is make a green cake, shape a red mouth and the white mouth using fondant,  get a white and black candy/sweet for the eyes and you effectively turn yourself into the best mother ever.

This one you could make following the same steps as the one before this, except you’ll need to have a little bit more skill with handling fondant. You’ll need to shape it around a Ninja Turtle shape head as shown here.

Make your cake using either green frosting or fondant. Add an orange fondant for the mask and eyes. And for the black outline, use an icing pen. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

So if you have time to shape the head, then here’s another one that you might like to do using the usual items: fondant and icing pen!

This one looks cool, doesn’t it? At first glance, it may look very difficult to make. But it doesn’t have to be. The cake itself is covered in silver fondant. You can do that, right? [Again, beginner level skills is perfectly fine! I assume you’re not making a cake for the King?]). For the Ninja turtles, just shape your cake into a ball (like when you’re making cake pops) and cover it with fondant.

This is so simple. And here’s the trick. Go to Ebay and find a seller who sells  edible paper toppers. Many of them can usually customize the image. If you have a picture of your child in TMNT costume, then you’re sorted. Just put this cake topper on top of a green square or circle cake and you’re done.

These TMNT Cakes May Need A Little Bit More Work

If you have cake decorating skills, this is going to be easy. Use a cake decorating tool to cover the cake with. Use Icing pen for the black outline.

This TMNT cake looks like a very fun one to make. You can make a combination of cupcakes for the hands and legs, a square cake for the yellow tummy bit, and a circle cake for the head.
