Because if you have low ceilings, this is precisely what you want to buy. You get a lot of extra space from the bed to the ceiling. No more chopping off the legs of the bed (which some parents do but which may compromise the structural integrity of the bed).

Look at the maximum weight capacity. It’s 450 lbs. That’s pretty solid for a loft bed. It also has reinforced guard rails for added stability and security.

Everything about this wooden full size loft bed with desk looks really good on paper. My apprehension is that it’s getting mixed reviews. If you read the reviews though you’ll very quickly realize that reviewers seems to be talking about different loft beds. This means if you base your purchase only on what the reviews say, you may not be getting a clear picture of the quality of the product.

This bed looks solid, well-designed and a real space-saver with the shelf and desk underneath it. Especially love that the shelf has a back cover so that nothing falls off it. You can even put a few storage baskets in it for better organization.
But once again, I have a problem with it. The reviews don’t fit the description. The seller should really put all the products in their own separate listing. But since they don’t, you get a mixture of reviews for different products.
The one thing to note though is that it’s sold by a third party Merax store which has many different products listed on sites like Amazon, Walmart and Wayfair. This makes me think they’re not a fly-by-night company. They’re based in Los Angeles California as shown on their website
